Numedia

July.2021- Present

This is a project being developed at Northeastern University to create a new multimedia platform for Northeastern students. In this project, a more systematic approach to learning and adapting web development and design is being taken.

 Background

  • Openness

We are free to make deletions and changes to the content.

  • Discovery

We can design in various aspects such as the style of the content. What's more, we can also do CSS customization for the content.

Logo Design

Final Logo

Inspired by the Northeastern School logo, we decided to use the "N" and "M" of NUmedia as the main elements of the logo, which in turn represents Northeastern and Media.

Lo-Fi Wireframe

After we collected the user interview data, we conceptually built a wireframe diagram of Numedia based on a combination of Numedia's values.

Conclusion

I learned how to take a product from a concept to a real product through this project. More importantly, I systematically understood and participated in the whole process to witness our results. I realized that any new product requires a lot of research and documentation by designers and researchers.
